Discovery Plus

Discovery Plus is an American subscription-based streaming service offering access to shows, live-streaming and catch-up channels such as Discovery Channel, TLC, Quest, Really and Animal Planet. The service is owed by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).

The service has three plans to choose from, including Basic, Standard or Premium.

  • Parents can create a Family Profile on their discovery+ account, see here

  • Parents can create a child’s profile and add a PIN to these profiles to be able to choose a suitable content rating for their child. See here for instructions.

    • Only content with that rating will be available to stream.
    • PINs will prevent children from accessing profiles without supervision, or other profiles with higher content rating settings.
    • Rating settings can only be changed by the PIN holder with a standard profile (not a Family Profile).
